Enterprise technology for ESG and sustainability
A number is only worth the evidence behind it.
YOTTANEX builds software for organisations whose figures have to survive scrutiny. Our first platform is Carbonex — a full ESG platform, in development now.
- Meter reading
- Invoice
- Supplier return
- Approved estimate
The company
We build systems whose numbers can be defended.
YOTTANEX is a technology company. We build enterprise software for organisations whose figures have to survive a board, an auditor, a regulator, or an investor who reads footnotes.
Our focus is ESG and sustainability, because it is the field where the reporting burden has grown far faster than the quality of the data underneath it. Organisations are being asked to publish numbers they cannot yet trace.
The discipline is the same wherever we build: know where every figure came from, keep the record honest, and never present a guess as a fact. That decides how our software works, not just how we describe it.
How Carbonex is designed to handle what it does not know
Missing is not zero.
Most systems have one way to say “we do not have this number”, and it looks exactly like the number nought. That single shortcut is where reported sustainability data quietly stops being defensible. Carbonex is being built so that four genuinely different situations stay four genuinely different things.
Recorded
A figure with a known source and a known method, traceable back to the evidence it came from.
Approved estimate
A value someone with authority chose to estimate, using a stated method, with the method and the approver on the record.
Unavailable
The data exists somewhere and we do not have it. Recorded as absent — never as nought.
Not applicable
The question does not apply to this entity, this activity or this period. That is a meaningful answer, not a gap.
Every figure in Carbonex is designed to carry its status, where it came from and how complete it is. The platform will not quietly fill a gap, and it will not invent a number to make a report look finished.
Our first platform
Carbonex
One place to collect ESG information, understand its quality, review and approve it, and prepare it for reporting — across environmental, social and governance topics.
Carbonex has not launched. It is in development, with a planned launch in January 2027. Everything described on this site is what it is designed to do.
Carbonex is being built so that one platform can serve very different industries while an organisation keeps a single way of working. Sector differences are handled by industry packs we build and verify, not by a separate version of the product for each customer — so what your teams learn once applies everywhere.
It will be delivered as a cloud service, so there is nothing for your team to set up or maintain, and access is controlled centrally. English and Arabic are both being built in from the start, with full right-to-left layout rather than a mirrored afterthought.
The spine of the product
Ten steps, one evidence model.
Carbonex is being built around a single journey that runs from setting your boundary to submitting a report — and every step of it adds to the same record.
- Configure
- Generate requirements
- Collect
- Validate
- Resolve gaps
- Calculate
- Review
- Approve and lock
- Report
- Share and submit
Nothing in that sequence is optional and nothing skips the record. A figure that reaches a board pack can be traced back through every step that produced it.
Full ESG, not carbon with extras
Three pillars on one evidence model.
Carbonex is deepest today where it started — carbon and energy. The pillars below describe the full scope the platform is being built to cover, not a set of capabilities that are finished. The roadmap says which is which.
Environmental
Carbon and greenhouse gases, energy, water, waste, air and pollution, biodiversity, circularity, climate risk, products and life-cycle assessment — and emissions from AI workloads, counted as a source in their own right rather than a footnote.
Social
Workforce, health and safety, learning and development, diversity and inclusion, human rights, community impact, supply-chain social conditions, and customer and product responsibility.
Governance
Board and leadership, ethics, compliance controls, risk, policies and controls, audit and assurance, cybersecurity and privacy, tax and economic contribution, and responsible AI.
A part of the platform, not an add-on
Your AI workloads have a carbon footprint. Carbonex is designed to account for them like any other source.
Most ESG platforms have nowhere sensible to put the emissions produced by AI workloads. They arrive as an untidy line in a report, or they do not arrive at all.
In Carbonex, AI emissions are being built to work like any other emission source: the same methods, the same evidence, the same approvals, the same place in your reporting, the same scrutiny. Not a separate add-on and not a separate export.
Planned mappings — not compliance claims
Designed to map to the frameworks your report has to speak to.
Carbonex is in development. The frameworks below describe mappings we are building, not certifications we hold. No software product can make an organisation compliant with a reporting framework, and we will not say otherwise.
- GHG Protocol
- ISSB / IFRS S1 & S2
- GRI
- ESRS / CSRD
- SASB
- TCFD-style disclosures
- CDP
- UN SDG mapping
- Regional reporting templates
One platform, industry packs
Built for every industry, without building a different product for each one.
A bank’s financed-emissions problem and a contractor’s supply-chain problem are not the same problem, but they should not need two different products. Carbonex is being built so that each industry gets the methods and activity types it actually works with, while the organisation keeps one way of working and one set of reporting.
Three sectors are being built first, because they are where the data problem is hardest and the reporting pressure is highest.
- Banking and financial services
- Real estate and facilities
- Construction and infrastructure
Beyond the first platform
YOTTANEX is bigger than one product.
These are the areas we intend to build in next. They are not products, they have no names and they have no dates — naming a product we have not built would be exactly the kind of claim this company exists to refuse.
- Energy
- Consumption, generation and intensity, at the level of an asset rather than an invoice — the same traceability problem as carbon, with faster-moving data.
- Water
- Withdrawal, discharge and stress in the places an organisation actually operates, where a global figure hides everything that matters.
- Environment
- Waste, air quality, pollution and biodiversity — the disclosures that are hardest to evidence and easiest to estimate away.
- Circularity
- Materials, reuse and recycling, tracked as flows through a business rather than as a percentage on a slide.
Honest about the stage
Carbonex is in development. Here is the order we are building in.
We publish our roadmap because anyone evaluating a pre-launch platform deserves to know what exists, what is next, and what is still an intention. It describes broad stages, and the only date on it is the planned launch.
- 01Platform foundation and the core ESG journeyIn progress
- 02Enterprise reporting and the evidence packNext
- 03Full ESG breadth — social, governance, materiality and suppliersPlanned
- 04Industry sector packsPlanned
- 05Delivery as a service, integrations and security hardeningPlanned
Start with what Carbonex actually is.
No demo, no sales sequence, no gated download. The product pages say what is built, what is designed and what is planned — and if a question is not answered there, contact@yottanexa.com reaches us directly.
