Cookie Notice
Last updated: 15 August 2026
Most cookie notices are long because the site behind them is doing a lot. This one is short.
What we use today
| What | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| NEXT_LOCALE | Strictly necessary preference | Remembers whether you chose English or Arabic, so the site opens in your language | 12 months |
| Cloudflare Turnstile | Bot check, third-party | Confirms a demo-request submission on the demo page is not automated | Set by Cloudflare — see the note below |
That is the complete list. Beyond the bot check above, we run no advertising cookies, no social media pixels, and no analytics at present.
Cloudflare Turnstile may set an identifier in your browser for the time it takes to complete that check. It is not used to track you elsewhere on this site or anywhere else. Cloudflare describes exactly what it stores and for how long in their own documentation: developers.cloudflare.com/turnstile.
Why we do not ask for consent
Under the common rules, a strictly necessary preference cookie that you set yourself by choosing a language does not require consent. We are not using consent-requiring cookies for analytics or advertising, so we do not show a consent banner for those. The demo-request page is a separate case: submitting that form is itself the action that invokes the bot check described above, and your consent to be contacted is asked for on that page directly. If an analytics or advertising cookie is ever added, a banner will appear, and it will let you decline as easily as accept.
What changes later
We expect to add privacy-respecting analytics at some point, so that we can tell which pages are useful. If and when we do, we will list it here first, explain what it measures, and ask for consent where consent is required.
Controlling cookies
Every browser lets you view, block and delete cookies. Blocking the preference cookie will not break this site – it will simply forget your language choice between visits.
